SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAM

SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAM

With the support from UHE partners, workshops and training of teachers are organized to increase knowledge on adolescent sexual and reproductive health(ASRH). UHE also focuses on home visits and the students’ competitions aiming at spreading messages on STIs prevention and increasing  community awareness on teen pregnancies prevention with associated mental problems as one cornerstone of a successful School Health Program. Some of the objectives of Universal Health in Education (UHE) is to reduce the  school dropout rate related to teen pregnancies, support the teen mums and their families indirectly for morale boosting, encourage them to return to school to complete their studies through home visits and provide support when deemed necessary.
